Modular Grid-Loc interlocking tiles are easy to maintain. Cleaning of these multiuse tiles typically includes:
  • Vacuuming or sweeping any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the modular tiles when necessary.
  • Hose off or damp mop the floor tiles with a mild soap and water mixture for tough or caked on dirt and/or stains.

Hard plastic tiles are easy to install. Installation of these floor tiles typically includes:
  • Clean your sub floor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, grease, or other foreign material.
  • When installing the hard plastic tiles, we recommend starting in the front left corner of the room and working your way out from there.
  • Make sure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall.
  • After filling the left wall with tiles and the adjacent wall, proceed to fill the rest of the room with whole tiles.
  • When you come up to a wall or object, don’t worry. Just measure the area and cut the tiles with a tile cutter or a power saw with a fine-toothed blade and put the trimmed tiles into place.
  • When trimming the tiles into place, make sure you leave about a 3/4” space between the tiles and the wall or obstruction.
  • Once the tiles are in place, you can then snap in the edge pieces, if you purchased them.
Note: Since our Modular Grid-Loc tiles feature a vinyl top adhered to the tile with a pressure sensitive adhesive, pressure may be needed to ensure that the vinyl top is fully adhered. You can easily accomplish this by walking across the floor or by using a flooring roller for larger areas.

  • Great for Indoor and Outdoor use.
  • 12 year manufacturer's warranty.
  • Easy to install and no tools necessary.
  • Made in the USA!
  • Great for any special events you have coming up!

Customer Questions & Answers

Don't see what you're looking for?
Can these tiles be used on top of carpeting?
You can use these on a low pile, tight carpet. These may be hard to use over a thick, plush carpet.
Can radiant heat coils be installed under any of your garage vinyl floor types including sheet and tiles?
All of our garage flooring products can be installed over radiant heating coils with ease. We recommend you follow the radiant heating manufacturers installation instructions when installing our flooring over it.
I am interested in creating a floor primarily for practicing dance. How stable/solid will the floor be if placed on top of a more plush carpet (soft surface) as opposed to a hard surface? I'm concerned about the squares flexing at their joints when danced on.
When installing over a plush carpet, our Modular Grid-Loc Tiles do have the potential to separate a bit. The best subfloor to put these tiles on is something solid and flat, but they can be installed over plush carpet.
I need a floor for my kitchen. Here's the catch, I am handicapped, but a wheel chair will not fit in my kitchen, so I use an old office chair with no back on it. The current floor in my kitchen is peel and stick tile over press board, so it is being torn apart from the wheels on the chair. I am also a large woman so the wheels do dig into the floor. Will your flooring systems stand up to the wear and tear.
Our Modular Grid-Loc Tiles combine the look of a standard peel-n-stick tile with the durability of our hard plastic garage flooring. So, even though there may be a lot of weight in one area, the tiles can hold it without indenting. Our Modular Grid-Loc Tiles can withstand rolling loads up to 25,000 pounds. So, you would have no issues with this flooring in your kitchen.
Can these tiles be used on an outdoor deck exposed to rain?
These tiles a recommended to be used outdoors in permanent installations.

  Not good for Pointe shoes
Verified Purchase
from Lincoln, NE wrote...
We bought this for our daughter to practice her Pointe and Ballet. These tiles do not click together tightly. There is a space between each tile approximately .75 mm wide. I wouldn’t let our daughter do anything on it, and tear up her pointe shoes. Also, this flooring is not soft enough to be an actual ballet floor. If you consider this product, look at all the pictures and videos first, so you can see if it is right for you.

My granddaughter is taking TAP dance classes and likes to practice at home. This worked beautifully, to avoid damaging my hard wood floors.
  Renewed Basement Floor

We recently lost power for 30 hours due to a hurricane. Before I could start the generator to keep the sump pump operational, the sump pump pit overflowed soaking the wall-to-wall carpet in the finished side of the basement. The carpet had been in place for about 20 years without incident, but not wanting a repeat I desired a floor covering not susceptible to the minor overflows that could occur in the future. Modular Grid-Loc tiles fit the purpose perfectly! The air gap beneath will allow for minor seepage if it occurs and the tiles won't spread the water like the carpet did. My tiles came on a pallet with nine tiles snapped together in a square; that greatly speeded installation time. I had all of the full tiles installed in two hours. Within another 4 hours I had cut and installed the tiles that needed to be cut to complete the 350 square foot wall-to-wall installation. I cut the tiles using a power miter saw without issue. I am very pleased with outcome of the project and would recommend the use of these tiles.
