Vinyl rolls are easy to clean and maintain. Cleaning of this flooring typically includes:
  • Sweeping or vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the floor when necessary.
  • Light damp mopping to remove light staining or spills. Remove scuffs and excessive soil by carefully scrubbing.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as discoloration may occur. We recommend closing blinds or drapes during peak sunlight hours to prolong the life of the floor.
Note: This is not a stain proof product. Leaving certain harsh chemicals or spills on the floor for an extended period of time may cause some staining and/or damage. Always clean up a spill immediately to reduce the chance of staining or other damage to your flooring.
When installing rolled vinyl dance flooring, it is recommended that you use some kind of adhesive to prevent the rolls from moving around or sliding apart between adjacent rolls. The most common methods of adhering Marley dance floors to the sub floor are:

A: Double Sided Tape Installation
  • First you will want to clean your sub floor so that it is free of all dust, dirt, and debris.
  • Loose lay your rolls in the room as you would like them to look after a complete installation. Let the rolls relax for up to 24-48 hours to ensure proper installation of your new flooring.
  • Make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a Straight Edge and a Utility Knife with a fresh blade. We recommend leaving a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
  • Apply double sided tape to perimeter of each roll.
  • Place vinyl rolls back into position on top of the double sided tape.

On finished concrete floor will I need something more than the adagio roll?
paula
Our Adagio Tour flooring can be installed right over your concrete subfloor, but we recommend installing our Dance Floor Subfloor between the Marley flooring and concrete. This will help to prevent injuries and will also add spring to your floor. If you are just looking to add some comfort to your floor, you can also use a foam or cork underlay.
Will this floor hold up well in heat? I need a dance floor that can be installed in an un-airconditioned warehouse and hold up year round without warping.
Anonymous
Our Adagio Tour Rolls would hold up just fine in a non-temperature controlled room. If the rolls are not glued down, what you will see is expansion and contraction of the floor, which won't be an issue as long as you install the flooring with the proper expansion gapping. We would recommend leaving about a 1/2" around your floor to allow the floor to expand and contract properly.
How would I adhere Marley to particular wood sub floor in my basement?
Beth Conley
You can adhere Marley floors using our Dance Floor Adhesive.
Rosco Adagio Tour roll, can this floor be used for pointe. If so, can I install on a basement floor (tile over cement), would i need a sub floor as well?
Shonda Crutcher
Adagio Tour can be used for pointe. Yes you would need to add a subfloor over your concrete to reduce likeliness of dancer injury.
Can the Rosco Adagio Rolls be installed over short carpet?
Amy Fletcher
You could for select dance styles but we would recommend using a proper underlayment.

  Adagio flooring review
Self-installed in Dance studios

I love the color, I love the ease of installation. And I love how it stands up to all styles of dance, including Tap. The bad thing is it shows dirt and scuffs easily. Most of them are easily washable though.

I just put in my order for the Adagio Tour Rolls and had sales rep Ron Jones helping me. I tried to use Affirm and it kept kicking back the order saying ″Enter a valid state″. Ron worked with me over a two day period trying to solve why it kept kicking it back and was EXTREMELY patient, helpful and friendly. If my floor is as good as the service that Ron gave me, I'll be a happy camper!! Thank you Ron
