3/8" Remnant rubber rolls are easy to clean and maintain. Maintenance of these rubber rolls typically includes:
- Vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the rubber flooring when necessary.
- Occasional damp mopping of the rolled rubber with a mild soap and water solution. A few
recommended soaps are Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
Note: Do not use any solvent or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down the flooring over time.

Installation of our rubber rolls is very simple and typically done by the consumer. When installing rolled rubber flooring, it is recommended that you use some kind of adhesive to prevent the rolls from moving around or sliding apart between adjacent rolls. Below are instructions for the two most common methods of adhering rubber rolls to your base floor.
Double Sided Tape Installation
- First clean your sub floor so that is free of all dirt, dust and debris.
- Loose lay out the rolls in the room as you would like them to look after complete installation. Note: Rolls can be directional so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the color does not appear to match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
- Next you will want to let your rolls acclimate to the space they are being installed for at least 24-48 hours.
- Now make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade.
- Lift rolls and apply double sided tape to the perimeter of each roll.
- Place rolls back into position on top of the double sided tape.
Glue Installation

- Next, roll up the rolls at one end of the room. Put down a 10 foot long light layer of polyurethane adhesive and unroll 10 feet of the flooring onto the adhesive. Repeat this step every 10 feet until the entire roll has been unrolled into its desired position.
- After all rolls have been glued down, it is often recommended to use a 100 pound roller on the floor in order to guarantee good adherence to the sub floor. If a roller is not available, walking on the flooring in small choppy steps ensuring ever spot of flooring has been walked on can also work.
