These floor tiles have been used successfully as garage flooring, trade show flooring, retail store flooring, in stadiums and military bases, on storage shed and locker room floors, and in home gyms. These tiles have also been used in airport hangars, in commercial garages. These tiles typically work well in any area where a resilient flooring surface would be useful that is both durable and easy to maintain.
  • 7mm Coin Flex tiles typically ship within 2-3 business days of the order being placed. When out of stock, orders can take 2-3 weeks to ship out.
  • An email will automatically be sent to you with your tracking information as soon as your interlocking tiles ship and tracking information becomes available.
Coin pattern interlocking floor tiles are easy to keep clean due to their impervious floor surface. Cleaning of these garage tiles typically includes:
  • Sweeping and/or vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the tiles when necessary.
  • Periodic damp mopping of the garage floor tiles with a mild soap and water mixture. Some soaps commonly used include Dawn dish detergent and/or Tide laundry detergent.

Installation of interlocking tiles is very simple and typically done by the consumer. Typical installation of these tiles is as follows:
  • First, clean your sub floor so it is free of all dirt, grease or debris.
  • Snap a chalk line on the sub floor 20” from one wall in your room. Snap another chalk line on the subfloor 20” from an adjacent wall. You should now have a pair of perpendicular lines making an approximate 90-degree angle.
  • Begin laying the interlocking tiles along the chalk lines, snapping the locks together as you go.
  • Leave the perimeter of the room open until the field is installed.
  • After the field is covered, go back and cut in lines along the walls in the room. Leaving a gap at the wall roughly the thickness of tiles being used is recommended to account for expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in varied temperature ranges.

  • Edging Installation Instructions
  • Insert the tile into the groove.
  • Next cut the transition strip to fit the desired area. You can adhere it to the subfloor if desired with a pressure sensitive adhesive.
Note: When piecing interlocking tiles together, adhesives are usually not used since the weight of the locked together product is usually enough to keep the floor tiles from moving. However, if you do experience movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all, some double-sided tape or mat tape can be used around the perimeter of the installation to prevent any movement.

Highlights

  • Extremely durable and long lasting floor tile.
  • Resistant to most solvents and chemicals.
  • Easy to clean and install.
  • Odorless and insulating.
  • 25 year limited warranty

Customer Questions & Answers

Don't see what you're looking for?
What is the difference in material between the 4.5 mm Coin Flex tile and the 7 mm Coin Flex tile?
There is no difference material wise between the 4.5mm Coin Flex Tiles and the 7mm version. The only difference is thickness. The 4.5mm version if our residential version, whereas our 7mm version is designed for commercial installs.
My garage has black and light grey checkerboard tiles. How do you remove brown tire staining from the light grey tiles? The black tiles are fine. So far nothing seems to work.
If the tires stain the tiles, there is no way to remove the staining. You would have to replace those tiles with black tiles. If street tar causes the staining, then Purple Power may remove the staining.

The first time I ordered samples, I received a torn envelope with no samples. After requesting samples again, they were promptly resent. I found a pattern that I liked and mixed three colors. The 7mm flex coin tiles were in my garage six days after I ordered them. The next day I installed the appr. 17' square area in about 8 hours. I put full pieces just inside/along the garage door and centered the rest, requiring me to cut border pieces on three sides. I had a ball game to go to so I did not install the edging until the next day, which did not take long. I am happy with the tile material and the look of my garage floor. My wife likes it so much she showed it off to our neighbor.

I will say that the order came in within a week from ordering. The 7MM coin design is what I ordered. I installed a lift on it and it works beautifully. Using the schematic from the order template made it easy to put the design together. The 24x24 car garage took me 3 hours to install not including the trim around the walls. I'm considering ordering more for the basement storage area. This was a great choice after considering between the Recycled PVC or Epoxy on the floor.

Self-installed in Storage shed/playhouse

Although I haven't installed these tiles yet I'm going to give them a high rating initially because they appear to be a very good product that should work extremely well in my storage shed/playhouse. That said, the dimensions of this product are extremely misleading. They are advertised as 19-5/8 x 19-5/8. Please note this is the actual outside dimensions of the tile including the tabs... as if they were placed end to end without interlocking. Once you actually connect them the overall surface area covered is less. The linear dimension when assembled is approximately 19-1/4, which is the dimension from the solid edge on one side of the tile to the outer edge of the tab on the other side of the tile. For tiles on the end of the row the linear dimension is approximately 18-7/8, which is the dimension of the solid surface of the tile, assuming you want to cut off the exposed tabs at the end of each row. Hope this helps others avoid ordering too few tiles as it can really make a difference.
