Description - The dance floor cleaner kit that we offer includes your basic everyday cleaner for dance flooring in the home or studio, as well as a heavy duty cleaner that may be necessary from time to time. The all purpose cleaner is used for routine daily cleaning. The heavy duty cleaner is meant to be used when the floor has been in storage or not deep cleaned for a period of time. Heavy duty cleaner can also be used as a floor stripper, and will remove all waxes and any excessive dirt that has built up on the floor.

Maintenance Maintenance

Regular cleaning of your new dance floor product will help to extend the overall life of your floor. Your new dance floor should be swept and mopped at least 3 times a week in normal applications. In touring applications, the floor should be swept and mopped everyday.
Do not use any cleaner that may have ammonia in its formula, as this will leave a slippery residue on the surface of your floor.
Before you mop, sweep the floor clean with a soft push broom. A corn broom or other bristle broom can scratch the floor’s surface.
For the regular cleaning, All Purpose Cleaner for dance flooring is recommended. The water temperature should be warm but not hot. For light duty cleaning, add 1 ounce of All Purpose Cleaner to 1 gallon of water, mop and let dry.
For moderate to heavy dirt build up on the floor add 2-4 ounces of All Purpose Cleaner to warm water, mop and let dry. If there is gummy residue from floor tape, apply All Purpose Cleaner full strength to a soft cloth and rub on the build up. Afterwards, rinse the area with warm water and let dry.
If the floor has been in storage or not cleaned for a long period of time, use Heavy Duty Cleaner. Heavy Duty Cleaner for dance flooring is a also floor stripper as well as a cleaner. Using Heavy Duty Cleaner you will remove all waxes and any excessive dirt that has built up the floor.
Add 1 cup (8 ounces) of Heavy Duty Cleaner to cold water and mop. After cleaning rinse the floor with 1 ounce of household vinegar per gallon of cold water and let dry.
To remove difficult stains or spills, apply Heavy Duty Cleaner full strength directly to a soft cloth, rubbing the cloth on the stain. Then rinse the area with 1 ounce of household vinegar to 1 gallon of cold water to the area and let dry.
