Big Chip™ Rubber Rolls are designed for easy maintenance and cleaning. Follow these simple steps to keep your rubber flooring looking great:
- Regularly vacuum or sweep loose dust, dirt, or debris from the surface of the rubber rolls as needed.
- Occasionally damp mop the rolls with a mild soap and water solution. We recommend using Dawn dish detergent and/or Tide laundry detergent.
- Avoid using any solvent or oil-based cleaners, such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy's Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, or similar products, as they can break down the rubber flooring over time.

Big Chip Rubber Rolls Installation Instructions
When installing Big Chip™ Rubber Rolls, it is essential to use an adhesive to prevent the rolls from moving around or sliding apart between adjacent rolls. Here are the two most common methods for adhering rubber rolls to the subfloor:
A: Double-Sided Tape Installation
- First, clean your subfloor thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or debris.
- Loosely lay out the rolls in the room as you would like them to appear after the installation. Allow the rolls to relax for 24-48 hours to ensure proper installation.
- Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the colors match on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure color consistency.
- Cut the rolls to fit the room's shape using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. Leave a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to allow for expansion and contraction.
- Roll up the rubber rolls at one end of the room. Apply double-sided tape to the floor along the perimeter of each roll.
- Place the rubber rolls back into position on top of the double-sided tape.
B: Glue Installation
- First, clean your subfloor thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or debris. Additionally, it is recommended that the subfloor is free of any moisture before gluing your flooring down.

- Roll up the rubber rolls at one end of the room. Spread a light layer of polyurethane adhesive that is 10’ long (maximum) and unroll the flooring into the adhesive 10’ at a time.
- Repeat this step for every 10 feet of length.
