Accessories for Regrind Rolls

Description - Strike up the band and let the world know that you can now get our ever so popular Regrind Rubber Rolls in custom cut sizing. Whether you need just 15' or 100', we can now get you the perfect size to fit you home or commercial gym flooring needs. As with the pre-cut version, these rolls are backed by a 5-year warranty and color and color density may vary between rolls.
Material – Reground rubber that is made from the post industrial recycled rubber created during the production of our standard rubber products. This allows us to make a low-cost product that is designed to be functional. If you would like a rubber roll that has guaranteed color consistency, we would recommend one of our standard rolled rubber flooring products instead.
Width – Each roll is 4 feet wide.
Length – The rolls are custom cut to your desired lengths free of charge provided that each roll length is 15’ long or longer and in whole foot increments such as 15’, 16’, 17’, etc. You will normally receive an extra few inches on each roll. This allows for a quick and easy installation.
Thickness – Available in 1/4", 8mm and 3/8" thickness.
Color – Confetti. (Note: This flooring is made entirely from the post industrial recycled rubber that is naturally made during the production of our standard rubber flooring products. Due to this, color density, shade, and variation can exist in the flooring depending on what kind of colors and products we are running on any given day.)
Weight – 1.5 Lbs. per square foot for the 1/4” thick rolls, 1.8 Lbs. per square foot for the 8mm thick rolls and 2.2 Lbs. per square foot for the 3/8” thick regrind rubber flooring.
Recommended Uses – Our Regrind Rubber Rolls are so popular because they are great for any application. These rubber rolls have been used as flooring in commercial gyms, as home gym flooring, in CrossFit Gyms, as flooring for walkways, as basement flooring, in garage gyms, as rec room flooring, and much more.
  • Our Regrind rolls ship in 5-7 business days when in stock.
  • An email will automatically be sent to you with your tracking information as soon as your recycled rubber flooring ships and tracking information becomes available.
Regrind flooring is easy to clean and maintain. Maintenance of this recycled rolled rubber flooring typically includes:
  • Vacuuming any loose dust, dirt, or debris from the rubber surface when necessary.
  • Occasional damp mopping of the rolled rubber with a mild soap and water mixture. Some soaps commonly used include Dawn dish detergent and/or Tide laundry detergent.
Note: Do not use any solvent or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down the flooring over time.

When installing rolled rubber flooring, it is recommended that you use some kind of adhesive to prevent the rolls from moving around or sliding apart between adjacent rolls. The most common methods of adhering rubber rolls to the sub floor are:

A: Double Sided Tape Installation
  • First you will want to clean your sub floor so that it is free of all dust, dirt, and debris.
  • Loose lay your rolls in the room as you would like them to look after a complete installation. Let the rolls relax for up to 24-48 hours to ensure proper installation of your new flooring.
  • Note: Rolls may be directional so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure color matches.
  • Make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a Straight Edge and a Utility Knife with a fresh blade. We recommend leaving a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
  • Apply double sided tape to perimeter of each roll.
  • Place rubber rolls back into position on top of the double sided tape.

  • B: Glue Installation
    • First clean your sub floor so that it is free of all dirt, dust and debris. Also, when gluing your flooring down, it is recommended that the sub floor is free of any moisture.
    • Roll up the rolls at one end of the room. Put down a 10 foot long light layer of polyurethane adhesive and unroll 10 of the flooring into the adhesive at a time.
    • Repeat this step for every 10 feet of roll length until the entire roll has been unrolled into it desired position.
    • After all rolls have been glued down, it is often recommended to use a 100 pound roller on the floor in order to guarantee good adherence to the sub floor. If a roller is not available, walking on the flooring in small choppy steps may also work.

  Unbelievable floors. Love them!

I have been in the industry a long time and have trained on many, many floors - so I am a snob about what is under my feet. I also just opened my own small group training center and needed rubber flooring that was durable, easy for me to install on both a budget and a deadline, that was of high quality to train on. I wanted to stay local and tried East Coast suppliers and manufacturers, but none had exactly what I wanted and then I discovered Rubber Flooring Inc. and I was in!!! Not only was the selection outstanding in terms of color, depth, style and usage - but they have so many ways to apply/install it. I specifically got the regrind rolls in confetti and people stop in their tracks when they come through the door. That's how nice these rubber floors are!! My clients love to train on it, they clean like a dream and really keep their color and luster. I am a burpee maniac and doing it on these mats is heaven. In addition, the customer care is some of the best I have ever received. If you run, manage or own in the fitness industry, you know how important that is, and Rubber Flooring's team is the best. Really held my hand through the whole process. Steered me back in the right direction when I veered a bit and then after installation (which was easy peasy - from delivery to literally rolling out the rubber and making a straight cut), still followed up with me for care and feedback. Loved it! Who does that? Thank you Rubber Flooring we are your biggest fans!!! HIIT BOX - Brooklyn NY

We have a 1400 square foot commercial gym, it had low pile carpet in it, we put the 3/8 regrind rolls over the carpet and used carpet tape to keep it in place. It is wonderful. All of our gym members love it! It looks like a whole new gym.
  Tough to install

Rubber rolls are heavy, and material is thick. I needed a professional installer, who worked very hard to cut through the material. Rolls were not matching in color of black, and three rolls were damaged on the sides upon delivery so that the seams have divots and chunks interrupting the seam in some places. I do like the flecks of color in the regrind rolls and samples sent before hand were a good example of what was delivered.

We ordered 81 feet of the launch turf roll and eight rolls of the 50 foot 1/4 inch confetti rubber flooring. We are extremely pleased with how the gym turned out. The Customer Service was extremely helpful. I am planning on using Rubberflooringinc to finish out my next facility.
