Description - Our Rubber Flooring Adhesive is a moisture-curing polyurethane adhesive and is designed to be used in a variety of applications. Urethane adhesives are typically used as wood flooring adhesives but they work exceptionally well and are the best adhesives to use when installing rubber flooring. Our polyurethane adhesive is also freeze thaw stable, which means this adhesive can be used in areas that experience a wide variety of temperatures, elastomeric, and contains no water. This urethane adhesive is also VOC compliant. For rubber flooring, we typically recommend using a 1/16” V notch or a 3/32” square notch trowels when laying down the adhesive. This will allow you to cover approximately 75 square feet per gallon of adhesive.
Material – Polyurethane
Color – Light brown
Size – 4 gallons
Coverage – 30 sqft/gal - 80 sqft/gal depending on Floor Type. See Installation Info tab for more details.
Weight – Approximately 10 Lbs. per gallon.
Recommended Uses – Rubber Floor Adhesive, made from polyurethane, is recommended for indoor use only, but can be used for outdoor installations. This adhesive can be used not only on rubber flooring but has also been used to install laminate floors, wood flooring, cork flooring and cork underlayment, rubber sound control underlayment, stairs treads and nosing, transition strips, OSB, etc. This product works well when installing flooring products over a variety of sub floors including concrete, plywood, particle or chip board, cement, gypsum, asphalt, and radiant heated flooring systems. When looking for a flooring adhesive that can do it all and is of the highest quality, this is it.

The flooring is gypcrete in a condo. I was told that a cork floor would be glued to the gypcrete using a polyurethane and the engineered wood glued to the cork using a polymer glue, for sound etc. Does this make sense at all?
Our Polyurethane adhesive can be used to glue both the cork underlay and the wood flooring. No need to use a polymer glue.
Can your polyurethane adhesive be used to adhere sheet rubber flooring to walls?

Does the concrete floor have to be clean before applying adhesive? Also, do you need to apply adhesive over the entire area or only on the seams

One reviewer commented on the hassle of re-opening container. Read the DnTac 3000 installation instructions available at The instructions says to cover top edge of container with plastic before replacing lid.

Glue came shipped in its own container, just placed a sticker on it and it arrived just fine. Metal bucket was easy to open and since it was a 2 day job, had to seal it for the night. It gets a 4 star not 5 because the glue is so sticky it literally sealed the bucket shut. Took 2 of us to pry it open and begin day #2. There wasn't that much adhesive on the side, but what little was there, caused it to stick closed. Also giving 4 stars because you should also buy some adhesive remover at the same time. When I placed my order with a live person, he never mentioned it and I didn't even think about it. I figured thinner or something would work, it did not. When you get some on your hands, clothing or on the floor, it is impossible to remove.
