Description - Get the ever so popular tread plate design in a tile that is not only durable but comfortable underfoot with our Diamond Flex Nitro Tiles. Available in several colors, this tile is the perfect floor for any garage or workshop floor. Easy to clean and maintain, these interlocking tiles feature a hidden interlocking design that will give your garage that high-end finished look you have always wanted. Great for commercial or residential use, a 15-year warranty backs our Diamond Flex Nitro Tiles.
Note: Flex tile colors are produced in batches, which can lead to color variations in your order. All colors may present some color variation, but Black, Dark Grey, and Light Grey can produce the most. These three colors can vary greatly between batches and thus it is recommended that you order more flooring than is needed for mistakes and replacements. This, in, turn, gives you the greatest chance to keep continuity across your floor. Batching will also affect color variation between samples and your order with Black, Dark Grey and Light Grey showing the most variation.
Material – Flex tiles are constructed entirely of a proprietary blend of flexible PVC that guarantees the most durable garage tile on the market. This custom PVC blend also ensures that the tiles are flexible and have the anti-fatigue flooring qualities often associated with rubber flooring but also the durability, long life, and chemical resistance associated with PVC tiles.
Size – 20.5" x 20.5"
Thickness – 0.177" (4.5mm)

Tread plate pattern interlocking floor tiles are easy to clean. Cleaning of these multi-use tiles typically includes:
  • Sweeping or vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the tiles when necessary.
  • Periodic damp mopping of the garage tiles with a mild soap and water mixture. Some soaps commonly used include Dawn dish detergent and/or Tide laundry detergent.
  • Due to each tile being coated with a protectant silicone sealant, the tiles may become scuffed or scratched during the installation process or while moving large objects. To help reduce the appearance of scratches or scuff marks we recommend using Armstrong’s Shine Keeper.

Note: This is not a stain proof product. Street tar can cause staining to light colored tiles, and in most instances, this staining can be remedied with a cleaner called Purple Power. If you have performance tires, staining can occur with light colored tiles. In most instances, this may not be remedied with a cleaner. If the staining on your floor does not dissipate, please contact our dedicated Customer Service team at 800-613-0996 who can further assist you.

Installation of interlocking tiles is very simple and typically done by the consumer. Typical installation of these tiles is as follows:
  • First, clean your sub floor so it is free of all dirt, grease or debris.
  • Snap a chalk line on the sub floor 20” from one wall in your room. Snap another chalk line on the subfloor 20” from an adjacent wall. You should now have a pair of perpendicular lines making an approximate 90-degree angle.
  • Begin laying the interlocking tiles along the chalk lines, snapping the locks together as you go.
  • Leave the perimeter of the room open until the field is installed.
  • After the field is covered, go back and cut in lines along the walls in the room. Leaving a gap at the wall roughly the thickness of tiles being used is recommended to account for expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in varied temperature ranges.
Note: When piecing interlocking tiles together, adhesives are usually not used since the weight of the locked together product is usually enough to keep the floor tiles from moving. However, if you do experience movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all, some double-sided tape or mat tape can be used around the perimeter of the installation to prevent any movement.

  • Car jack approved.
  • Easy to clean and maintain.
  • 15-year warranty.
  • Resistant to most vehicle and household chemicals.
  • Quieter than hard plastic garage tiles.

Customer Questions & Answers

Don't see what you're looking for?
Are these tiles smooth enough for easy sweeping and washing? How water tight are they?
Our Diamond Flex Nitro Tiles are very easy to clean and maintain. You can easily sweep, and large dirt and debris with a broom and can hose off the tiles with a water hose or mop them with a mild soap and water solution. These tiles are very watertight as they feature a hidden interlock system. This system is our most watertight interlocking system we offer.
Will these tiles bunch up, shift or separate under the friction and weight of a steering tire? Should they be glued or attached with a high-quality double sided tape?
Our Diamond Flex Nitro Tiles interlock very tightly and will not separate under normal conditions. So if you have to turn your tire in your garage, the tiles typically will not move. In certain rare circumstances, these tiles may separate. In these instances, we would recommend using either double-sided tape or glue to keep the tiles in place.
I have a 3 stall garage each stall is sloped to the middle where there is a floor drain. What floor tile works best? I also use a floor jack on my floor.
Our Diamond Flex Nitro Tiles would be a perfect flooring option for your garage. These tiles are very flexible which allows them to contour to the slope of your garage. They are also car jack safe, so you will be able to use your car jack on the flooring surface. These tiles are easy to cut as well; that way you can leave your drain exposed to allow any water to flow properly in your garage.
Are these tiles easy to cut if you need to use smaller ones at the ends?
Our Diamond Flex Nitro Tiles are very easy to cut with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge.
How easy is it to separate these tiles if I move or want to change the design? Will they hold up through moving them to another garage?
You can easily install and uninstall our Diamond Flex Nitro Tiles. These tiles are meant to be a floating floor making this a straightforward process and will not damage the tiles in any way.

I can’t tell you how many compliments I have gotten since I put in my new floor. I did it myself and although it took some time, about 15 hours start to finish it was pretty easy. It is a three car garage. Cutting the tiles at the end takes the most time. It is so worth it.

Installation went far easier than expected. I used a portable jig saw for the rough cuts and a sharp utility knife for the finished cuts at the interior door. Also because a short row they could be fit together and then moved a short distance I was able to align the tiles so that two walls lined up with the ends of the tiles to reduce the tiles requiring cuts. These flex tiles are well engineered and the manufacturing fit was precise. While a mallet was helpful at times, manny of the joints could be fit just by stepping on the tiles which saves the arms. Given it was a 40 year old concrete floor, I did fill the deep pitting and small cracks with quick crete. While I was concerned that the tiles would show some of the imperfections in the leveling-- that was not the case. The tiles accommodated the minor variations in elevation and the finished job met my best hopes. See before and after pictures. Customer Uploaded Photo Customer Uploaded Photo

The tiles are stable on the floor, even with cars turning. Easy to clean and looks great. Cutting involved using a dremel with a cut-off wheel and a box cutter. I love them. Customer Uploaded Photo

We just installed our flooring this weekend. It was so easy, yes it is time consuming. Once figured your layout it was a breeze. Cut with a simple blade. Looks like it will be very study and sweeps up like a charm. Our garage never looked so classy. Highly recommend the product.
