Description - Breccia Stone Flex tiles allow you to have the natural, luxurious look and feel of Italian stone floors without the cold hard feeling of actual stone floors. These beautiful tiles are available as solid colors or with a diamond accent in the center, so you can create your own unique floor pattern. No need for messing with hard to use grout, simply interlock these tiles and go! Not only is installation of your new floor simple and easy, it is also very easy to clean and maintain only needing to damp mop the floor with mild soap and water as needed. These tiles are built to last and are backed by a 10 year warranty ensuring your new floor will last for years to come.
Material – Stone pattern tiles are constructed with a proprietary blend of flexible PVC with a Luxury Vinyl top. This ensures that the tiles are flexible in order to have the anti-fatigue flooring qualities often associated with rubber flooring but also the long wear life and chemical resistance associated with vinyl tiles.

Luxury Vinyl tiles and planks are easy to keep clean and maintain. Maintenance of the floor typically includes:
  • Always use plywood or other boards when moving heavy objects across the floor to avoid scratching of the floor surface.
  • Use felt pads under chair and furniture legs to prevent scratching of the floor surface.
  • Place walk off door mats at all entrances and doorways to collect debris from shoes such as dirt, rocks, and moisture, from being tracked in and onto your new floors.
  • Avoid using rubber backed area rugs or floor mats as they can stain the flooring surface over time.
  • Use non-staining floor protectors underneath heavy furniture, chairs, and tables.
  • Daily or weekly vacuuming or dust mopping to remove dirt, grit, dust etc. Do not use treated dust mops.
  • When mopping, use a damp and never a wet mop.
  • Clean up spill immediately to prevent damage to the floor.

Installation of interlocking tiles is very simple and typically done by the consumer. Typical installation of these tiles is as follows:
  • First, clean your sub floor so it is free of all dirt, grease or debris.
  • Snap a chalk line on the sub floor 24” from one wall in your room. Snap another chalk line on the subfloor 24” from an adjacent wall. You should now have a pair of perpendicular lines making an approximate 90-degree angle.
  • Begin laying the interlocking tiles along the chalk lines, snapping the locks together as you go.
  • Leave the perimeter of the room open until the field is installed.
  • After the field is covered, go back and cut in lines along the walls in the room. Leaving a gap at the wall roughly the thickness of tiles being used is recommended to account for expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in varied temperature ranges.
Note: When piecing interlocking tiles together, adhesives are usually not used since the weight of the locked together product is usually enough to keep the floor tiles from moving. However, if you do experience movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all, some double-sided tape or mat tape can be used around the perimeter of the installation to prevent any movement.

Can you lay this tile over ceramic tile?
Kathleen kleibor
Yes, these tiles can be placed over ceramic tiles.
I want to use the tiles on my outside concrete surface patio. The description doesn't say anything about outside use. It there a problem with using them outside? Do you sell interlocking tiles for outside use? Thanks.
KB Johnson
Our Stone Flex Tiles - Breccia Collection is recommended for use indoors, however we do carry amazing decking tiles that would look great on your concrete patio. Please see our composite decking products under the "Outdoor Flooring" category on our website.

So being a 50 something dude, with some abilities and trying to be different than the usual homeowner i considered this flooring product. Yeah I'll admit Porcelin,Ceramic and other traditional flooring could have been used and is cheaper, outside the box was for me. I used this Tile in a Sandstone flex tile to match or fit in color wise with hardwood floor in adjacant room. Took off the wall moulding and went at it.Took my time and with plenty of razor blades and sore wrists and forearms it came out nice. Really nice. Under the stove,Refirgerator, dishwasher and even the mud room with washer and dryer. Liked it so much i bought more and did the guest bath, even replacing the toilet with a dual flusher. It came out nice with the paint job on the walls already there. As said pricey but if 10 years is the average warranity, this will properly be down and in good use for a long time. If a tile gets screwed up, peel it off and replace.Just get enough to have spares on hand. One thing to watch for, is depending how you want the grain to run (if your tile has one)take from all the same box and move froma box to box. Don't scatter them out and grab randomly.

  Lake House
Verified Purchase
Self-installed in lower level living at lake home
Charlene from Barnstead, NH wrote...
The walk-out lower level of our newly purchased lake home had Berber carpet. As direct entry from the water and Jacuzzi - that I did not consider practical or sanitary. We did many renovations to our new place and I did much research on flooring that could be easily installed, durable and suitable for being placed on cement flooring. 20x18 room installed in a few hours. Clicking together nicely. Hardest part was cutting the rubber product which I left for my husband. All pieces (even the small cut edging) held together perfectly. It has a nice honey-combed underside to lead the cement breath and is not hard on the bare foot like tile. I love, love, love it! And it looks great too.
