Ribbed Carpet Tile - Quick Ship Reviews

For my installation I used 3 different colors of the ribbed carpet tiles in my living room. This was my first installation of carpet tiles. Overall I am very pleased with the results. The colors I used were black, blue, and gunmetal grey in a weaving pattern. I chose carpet tiles over conventional carpet because we have 3 pets that unfortunately have an occasional accident and it's not too difficult to replace a single tile if stain can't be removed. Only negative was that the grey tiles were consistently 1/8″ bigger than the blue and black tiles in both X and Y direction, making installation a little more tedious. Tiles were easy to cut using a straightedge and sharp carpenters knife. I have sent a picture to reviews@flooringinc.com

I used my ribbed carpet tiles in my O Scale train layout. I used the charcoal colored tiles and the streets and the green colored tiles for my grass...I LOVE THEM!!! What do you think of my layout, I'm sending before and after pictures.

Our project was rather simple - my wife and I were looking for a solution that: > Would provide a surface where office chairs rolled smoothly without the need for a plastic chair mat > Would be easier to find and vacuum small items usually stuck in carpet, such as staples for example > Would provide some level of sound absorbing, as opposed to a bare wood floor > Would be easy to replace sections as needed, as opposed to replacing all the carpet in the office. As you may know, in a home office scenario, most of the carpet will never be touched. So why have to replace areas that don't ever wear? These tiles have so far proven to provide us with all of the goals we set out to meet, and at a very reasonable cost - unlike carpeting. We are not only pleased with the product, but also impressed that a company such as you has personally reached out for feedback. By the way - the representative I spoke to at the time of placing the order was also a good start to an excellent customer experience, she was very helpful.

I used the carpet tiles on my basement stairs. I used black, blue and gray and cut to size. I had a small hiccup as a few of the blue tiles seemed to have separated from the backing and were not sticking any longer. But I was able to cut those areas away and I had enough to complete the job. Attached are some pictures of the final project.

I used the Ribbed Carpet Tiles to create a makeshift area rug in my son's play area in our living room. Using poster board I was able to take multiple pieces together to create a foundation and then I put the peel and stick tiles right on top of that to create my pattern. The tiles are colorful and bright matching with all of the toys and my little guy loves it!

We used the carpet tiles as flooring for a screened porch. We bought light gray and orange tiles and placed in a checkerboard pattern as we are big fans of The University of Tennessee Vols! The tiles were super easy to install and cut--we used utility scissors. The project was completed in a day. We were very happy with the product and the price was the most affordable option we could have chosen. The only small issue we had was with shipping. The two colors of tiles shipped separately and it took a little longer to get one color. Overall, super happy with the product and customer service! Thank you.

Hi, I am writing to share my thoughts on the peel and stick carpet squares. My 12 year old dog hurt her back foot and could not get around on our hardwood floor. So we started out with a multitude of rugs, yoga mats, etc. I needed something more livable for my sanity and I found your website. Ordered the carpet and it arrived in no time at all. I put the strips down and it has been amazing. Absolutely love it and so does Mattie. The only thing I would change is that the same lot numbers are shipped together as there is just a small amount of color difference in the two boxes I received. Would I order again? Absolutely! I installed the ribbed carpet tile on a less than desirable floor we put down in our basement. The floor was popping up and was a tripping hazard. I was looking for an inexpensive solution rather than tearing this old floor up. I came across Rubber Flooring's carpet tiles and discovering that I could cover the area for under $400 I took a chance. It's been 2 months and so far my husband and I are pleased with the results.

Installed on bare concrete basement floor in workshop. Super easy to install, holds up to wear, and sticky enough that it can be cleaned with a commercial vacuum. As others have mentioned, some had to be trimmed to be square to one another, but they are thin enough that they can easily be shaped with a straight edge and a utility knife. Although thin and placed right on concrete, there was an immediate and noticeable improvement in comfort and noise. Highly recommended.

I wanted to create something that would be cool and unique for my apartment. I ended up deciding on the Ribbed carpet tiles because they were very low cost and I didn't need very many for the project. The peel and stick application definitely helped as well - although at first I had to figure out how to install them temporary in my apartment. I figured out the approximate size that I wanted, drew out the pattern on paper before I ordered and figured that I would need 8 gunmetal and 8 black tiles. When I got them, I cut the tiles in half diagonally to see the layout in real life. I ended up buying a bunch of black poster board as a 'base' and taping that together into the size that the final rug would be. From there, I pulled the backing off the tiles and put them directly onto the poster board so that I could 1. move it if I need to & 2. not stick it to my apartment floor. It was easy to peel up the tile and realign it on the ones where I goofed up and needed a 'tighter fit' to get the design right without any gaps showing. Overall, it took me about an hour and a half (by myself!) between laying out the posterboard and placing my new rug underneath my couch.

We were very pleased with our purchase of these carpet tiles. They are rather thin, but that is what we were expecting, for the price. We used them in our basement, which is a very uneven mix of old tile and cement, and they worked beautifully to hide imperfections in the leveling. The adhesive strips worked just right to stick on a bumpy and in some places, rough, surface.

Attached is a photo of some carpet squares placed on slippery wooden stair treads. This was originally intended for our dog but it would be a great addition for small children too. Overall the process was extremely easy to complete and I will most likely purchase these same carpet squares for an entry way project.

I recently ordered some of your ribbed, peel and stick carpet tiles. I am extremely happy with my order and was able to cosmetically improve our downstairs bathroom. We are currently renting a house and the linoleum green tile in that bathroom was horrible. With the peel and stick carpet tiles, we not only improved the look but the floor is no longer freezing. Have to say, I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase and finished product. It was a very easy DIY project I was able to complete despite recently suffering a broken leg. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
