Is there any reason I could not lay this upside down (barrier on bottom) as an underlayment for floating cork flooring tiles?

The manufacturer's installation instructions specify to lay the material with the plastic film side up (wave textured side down). This product can definitely be used with cork floor tiles.
What side goer against the sub floor, cork or vapor barrier?

This is confusing as many others say the vapor barrier would go down first against the concrete, the cork on top, then tile so which is it? Ive read many forums and they go back and forth with the, I have tested tile on the smooth surface and it simply doesnt stick. Testing on the cork side and it sticks with no problem so I as well as many out there are confused a little on this, shouldn't the moisture barrier face down against the concrete then tile on top of the cork??

Does this product provide any cushion? House is on a concrete slab.

AcoustiCORK Quiet Comfort Plus Vapor Barrier will provide some cushion underfoot.
What is the R-Value of this product? I didn't see it on the spec sheet.
