Description - Soft mats offer an excellent foam matting solution for the home user or the commercial gym in search of portable foam matting. These mats are ideal for covering an area with a colorful and light weight portable mat that comes complete with an adjustable carrying strap. Soft mats are also easy to clean, waterproof, sound and shock absorbent, and help insulate users from cold floors below. In addition, each mat is reversible which allows for quick color changes by just flipping the mat over.
Material – Closed cell EVA foam rubber. Adjustable carrying strap is made out of durable nylon.
Size – 4’ x 6’
Thickness – 3/8” nominal (~9mm)

Recommended Uses – Soft mats are designed to be used as general fitness mats. These roll out foam mats have been used successfully as foam playmats, yoga mats, aerobics mats, gym mats, exercise mats, camping mats, beach mats, and video gaming mats as well. The comfortable closed cell foam mat surface allows for these mats to be used anywhere where a shock absorbing and insulating mat is needed for floor exercises or general mat use and they are safe to use both inside and out.

A Soft Mat is easy to clean. Unlike many other cheap foam mats available, our soft foam matting is constructed of durable closed cell foam. This means that no liquids can penetrate the surface of the EVA foam mat. If the Soft mats do get something spilled on them or appear dirty, all that is needed to clean them is to do a quick wipe of the floor mat with a damp cloth and your foam exercise mat will look like new.

I was worried that I needed thick "rubber" and that "foam" would be too spongy. Not true. I have this on tile and do P90X style workouts very comfortably. I'm 55 and have no pain going quickly from standing to kneeling. Works great.

This mat is multi functional. Used for rehab therapy and lots of play time!!! Due to her brain injury ..the softer the better! ! Non slippery ..excellent for getting hand strength back to support upper body again..

These mats were a great find for me. The thickness is ideal and I love that you can roll them up easily and transport them. I use them for a bootcamp that I run and they are great for floor work. Ideal size and lightweight for easy transfer.

These foam mats are great at a great price. I glued some to a concrete wall in the basement to dress it up and soften bumps a little. Also great for exercise mats on the floor. Not as soft as the thicker mats, but fine for situps, pushups, stretching, etc.

We wanted something that looked nicer and cleaned easier than rubber tiles so we went with this product after reading other reviews. It does appear to damage rather easily as the treadmill and stationary bicycle damaged tiles when we moved them into the room. We had extras and replaced them rather easily, but I'm concerned how well it will hold or tear up when we attempt aerobics (sp) or pivoting on one foot with kick boxing. We'll see.

Nice, easy-to use mat. I have an unfinished basement and needed a good mat to pad the intense motions (jumping, jogging, hopping, etc) of the Insanity workout. These work nicely. I purchased 2 mats to cover the range of movements for the exercises.
A few notes...because they were rolled up, I had to weight down to edges for a couple weeks. Also they move around a bit, which is partly a function of a dusty floor. After a few weeks, I'm noticed some slight wear, as my knees and hands have a little black residue on them.
All and all, they fit my needs.

I purchased 2 3/8" 4 X 6 mats for my husband to use as exercise mats. We have hardwood flooring throughout the downstairs and he kept slipping while trying to complete his P90X and Insanity exercise DVDs. With these two mats down, he is able to complete his workout without slipping and with enough cushion to soften the impact of the exercises.

This is my second purchase for rubber flooring. The 1st was so successful & complimentary it was a no brainer on the second. We use it for a recreation room under the pool table. The table installer love it. His comment "best way for balance of a pool table". My second purchase involved our exercise room. Works great.
