This unique alternative to hardwood flooring features a durable vinyl top with a foam backing that is specially constructed to minimize leg stress and injuries. This low cost option provides superior shock absorbency, making it safe for a variety of activities and people of all ages. This rolled vinyl floor maintains structural integrity without compromising a consistent ball bounce or other desirable factors associated with standard gymnasium flooring. While the perfect flooring option for home gyms and yoga studios, we do not recommend using heavy weights on this specialty floor. Recommended Uses – Our Eco-Impact Roll flooring has been successfully installed in many spaces to provide a cushioned yet durable flooring solution. This flooring has been used as flooring in gymnasiums, dance studios, yoga rooms, hot yoga room, aerobic rooms, locker rooms, art galleries, kids rooms, equipment rooms, and many other spaces to increase performance while lessening fatigue.
Vinyl flooring rolls are easy to clean. Maintenance of this rolled flooring typically includes:
- Vacuuming any loose crumbs, dirt, dust, or debris from the vinyl floor covering when necessary.
- Occasional damp mopping of the flooring rolls with a mild soap and water solution. A few recommended soaps are Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent. Rinse floor thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
Note: Do not use any solvent or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down the flooring over time.
When installing rolled vinyl flooring, it is recommended that you use some kind of adhesive to prevent the rolls from moving around or sliding apart between adjacent rolls. Here are some common methods of installing vinyl rolls:
