Description - AcoustiCORK RR300 Rubber underlayment has been specifically designed to be the best underlayment to use under floating floor systems. RR300 can also be used under other floors such as cermaics, harwoods and stone among others. This rubber underlayment can be adhered by adhesive, double sided tape, nails or staples and does not hold water, which helps make this underlayment resistant to mold and mildew. In areas where water may be present, a vapor barrier would be required to protect the flooring surface. But in areas where water would not be present, a vapor barrier would not be necessary unless specified by the manufacturer’s warranty. RR300 also has properties which aid in the suppression of cracks in ceramics, stones, and hardwoods due to subfloor fracturing. This ensures that your flooring surface stays crack free for the lifetime of the floor. This underlayment is also great to use under our Modular Flooring because it helps reduce the noise caused when walking or driving over them.
