Self-installed in Batting cage

The samples came to me quickly. They were perfect. They lined up edge to edge perfectly--until I got the entire shipment. 30% of the 1000 sq. ft. were imperfect: the joints or the seams did not line up like the samples. We used a polyurethane glue and had to pull the tiles together with Gorilla tape. It only worked a little bit--better than nothing I guess. Returning tiles was not an option for us. I think the molds for which they pour the recycled material is not fool-proof. I do like the fact we can say we went green with this project. Rubber Inc. if you want a professional how to install this product properly, send me a email.

Self-installed in Outdoor Deck/Patio

The customer service is great! I have had no issues getting in touch with them. Sales (Alexia) was awesome as well, if you go through someone, make sure its her. I have my tiles outdoors on my patio. One concern is what another reviewer wrote, some tiles are not cut perfectly straight, so the tiles do not sit next to each other perfectly. Concern two, colors fading and some tiles stained (they did replace 12 tiles for me which were stained and I think defective, without hesitation). Overall the color (gray) is fading. I live Chicago and so I installed them a couple of months ago and besides the color fading a little not bad. They are very soft, feel great to walk on, feel like they will last, and if you have kids and if they tumble, they won't get hurt. They are easy to cut as well. You do not need to purchase any kind of material to stick them to the ground, they are heavy enough not to move. Overall, I like the tiles, I do expect them to last me years.

  not good for me
Self-installed in did not use

I was looking to do a 3,800 sq ft room with these and bought four to see if we liked them. The strong rubber smell lasted for weeks and the edges were not cut straight so to butt them together there were gaps at the edges. I cannot imagine what this would have been like after you added another 946 tiles to this equation.

The wait was definitely worth it.

Self-installed in Child Care Center
Brenda Clark from Shippenville, PA wrote...
I just wanted to let you know how completely satisfied I am with the rubber flooring that I bought from your company. Actually, it exceeded my expectations. It is perfect for what I am using it for, which is a child care center. My husband got me started laying it and then he left and went to work. I laid the entire floor by myself, including measuring and cutting around the edges. It took me from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. I'm sure someone who know exactly what they were doing could have done it faster, but there you have it. The only drawback is the tire smell which I knew about beforehand; but even that is dissipating.
