This product was perfect for my dog kennel. I have a plastic floor underneath the turf. This keeps the turf off the ground and allows the dogs urine to pass through both the turf and plastic flooring underneath. The plastic floor has holes as well and is elevated 2 1/2 inches off the ground. Solid waste you pick up just like on real grass. I then spray a disinfectant solution to clean the turf and plastic floor and then rinse. So far, it's holding up well and my dogs love playing on it. If I had the need, I would purchase this turf again.
