  Great Product

This is a great product and the finished job is fantastic. I am so glad that I decided to spend a little more money and go with Coin Flex Nitro over the Nitro Tiles. No clicking sounds, flexible leading to nice flat installation and really great looking. The custom design tool is great! Installation was very straightforward as well. I will say however, using a utility knife to install these files is really not feasible. It's sort of misleading that the 'how to' video is for the Coin Flex, not the Coin Flex Nitro. The Coin Flex must be a lot softer and more flexible as I tried a utility knife and its just not the right way to go. I ended up using a circular saw for the cuts and it worked well. A table saw would be perfect if you have one, but if not I would definitely recommend a circular saw. I will be interested to see how this wears over time, but as for now, I am super satisfied and love the product!

  Look Great! But .....

These look awesome when first installed. But they scratch way to easy. I have a Harley and I have to put a towel under my kick stand every time due to scratching. Also, anytime I move or roll something of the floors they scratch the floor if you are not very careful.

With both appearance and simplicity of install started with laying down 1 course and the next thing I know I was done lol. Took about 1-1/2 hours no hammer needed, used my thumb to press into place although a hammer would have saved my thumb from a lasting imprint lol. Cuts very easy with a new sharp blade on razor knife I found using a straight edge and just scoring enough to fold then cut worked well for me great product. Thank you!

Attached are a couple of photos of the floor installation in my garage. We are extremely satisfied with this floor. It looks great and was easily installed. The installation took about three hours from start to finish. It looks great and is very easy to keep clean. I would not hesitate to use this product again.

  My third garage floor install
Self-installed in Garage
Jim M. from Tacoma, WA wrote...
I have put garage tiles in three garages so far in my life and this one might be my favorite. The past two garages I did I used the plastic tiles which are great. I always liked the plastic tiles since you can't see the interlocks and they look great. This time I wanted to try the vinyl since I heard they are quieter. Well they weren't lying, these tiles feel almost like a rubber floor and don't ever have that clicky sound like the plastic tiles sometimes have if your subfloor is uneven. I think these tiles might also be easier to clean since it seems impossible for dirt to get in the cracks. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you.

What a great product with super fast shipping. I ordered the coin flex nitro tile last week Wednesday and received it Friday! Being the first to review made me a little worried. These tiles are extremely durable, feel great to walk on and look amazing. I will be spending more time then I should in my garage. Thank you!

  1993 garage floor
Verified Purchase
Self-installed in garage floor
Steven A Gallo from Fort Myers, Fl wrote...
Our home was built in 1993 and the garage floor looked like it! Many many stains and marks and a general feel of dirtiness. It was also dingy as you entered the garage. The coin flex nitro tiles were very easy to install and cutting the edges was not too bad as long as the razor blade was sharp. Like putting a puzzle together and adjusting the design based on the garage size and my wife's keen eyes, we now have a clean and bright floor. My wife was a little skeptical at first but now she comments on how ″nice″ our garage floor is. We preferred the tile to the epoxy option for the reason of floor prep time and effort and cost. We are very pleased with it all plus the service provided from Lauren at Rubber Flooring. She was terrific to work with and even credited us for a box that did not show up and ultimately was not needed due to our design changes. We have already referred Rubber Flooring to 2 of our friends.

  Incredible transformation

I had a 35 year old garage floor that had seen a lot of work and abuse. At one time I had considered epoxy paint and seen how much work was involved with prep work alone and with no guarantees the paint would adhere to the surface and real concerns about longevity. I ordered Coin Flex Nitro tiles in the checker board pattern and love it and everyone that has seen it cant believe how great it looks. I was really impressed how easy it was to install the tiles however I would warn you to make sure your walls are square prior to finding a start point especially if you order a pattern. My garage is 22x24 and I had a blast installing the tile, took me about 6 hours on and off. Now that it is installed I realize I made the right choice.

Overall I love the look. I have an uneven discoloration in the middle of the tiles, perhaps I bent them too much when installing, still looks decent.

Love the Coin Flex Tiles. They were extremely easy to install and completely changed the look and feel of our garage. The Porsche and the Audi look more at home now too on such a beautiful floor. I have received so many compliments since I installed it. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to rejuvenate an old garage floor.

  Easy to Clean
Self-installed in Garage
Steve from Omaha, NE wrote...
Here are my photos. Now, these probably aren’t ones you want to use for marketing, because of the dirt stains that show, but it’s actually a good thing. I was able to get the floor looking like this with just a quick rinse with the hose. Before the rinse, the floor was caked with dirt, sand, salt and road grime from 2 months of Nebraska winter. I was really impressed with how well it cleaned up with no work at all. Come spring, when I can use soap and a broom, it will look like new.
