Heritage Carpet Tile Reviews

I wanted to put something down in my apartment kitchen that would help with sound and comfort. I looked all over for mats but they were pretty small and I wanted to cover a large majority of the area, if not all. I ended up coming around to some carpet tiles that looked nice and I could order just 1 box worth. The tiles ended up working perfectly - they were easy to cut, I used the floating tab installation that the sales rep recommended to me and I put a small amount of tape between the perimeter and the existing floor. I've noticed I walk kind of hard, and being on the second floor of my apt building I was concerned with noise for the person below me. With the tiles down, I immediately noticed a noise difference. I'm considering doing this in a few other spots too since it worked out well.

We put the tiles down in our baby's playroom. The tiles keep the floor warm and it's better than the hard concrete underneath. Also absorbs some of the sound when toys are dropped, so we love that.
