Customer Questions

Ask a Question
Do you ship rolling floors to Alaska?
Angie
If you call in, we can put together a special rate quote for you.
Can this be installed over carpet? What about concrete with no sub-floor? What kind of flooring is best to install this over?
Teresa Hopkins
This is not typically installed over carpet, especially a high pile/plush carpet. You may prefer having a little cushion underneath from a foam dance subfloor tile, but overall it needs to be a smooth/flat and compact/dense.
are there warranties
gene ozias
Dance Floor Rolls are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in both material and workmanship. We recommend inspection of all flooring upon arrival and prior to installation. If a defect is discovered the customer must notify us directly as soon as possible after the defect is discovered.
I'm thinking about installing this in my art studio over wide pine flooring. Do I need a subfloor? is there any cushion in the vinyl?
Johanna Carrington
These rolls do not have any cushion. We recommend ordering a sample so that you can see, feel, and review for your own use.
We are looking for a temporary/portable dance floor option to use for rehearsals for musicals (about 3 per year/totally of 12 weeks). Can the rolls be used over hard surface carpet (like carpet tiles) and how difficult is it to roll/unroll vs getting tiles?
Kristen
We do not have any experience with customers using the rolls for this exact use. As long as there are no major issues in the floor below it could work. The rolls are very easy to unroll, you'll want to tape the seams together for a large, seamless area.
WOULD THIS FLOOR BE DURABLE ENOUGH FOR TAP AND CLOGGERS ON IT?
SHARON C SANDLIN
No, the dance floor rolls are only recommended for Soft Shoe Styles – ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tennis soft soles
Can this be used for ballroom dancing with high heels?
Sarah Munds
These rolls are not approved for dance styles with hard shoes / heels.
We need 22' x 25' floor space covered. If we were to order the whole roll, is it possible to cut the roll once it arrives? What type of equipment would we need to make the cuts?
Jackie
Yes, you can easily cut the roll using a sharp utility knife and straight edge or heavy duty scissors.
