What kind of backing material is used for the carpet?

These carpet tiles have an adhesive backing.
Will water drain through these/are they porous? Do they need to be adhered in place or will they stay in position if simply placed down in a restricted space?

Yes, these tiles are porous. They need to be adhered in place with their adhesive backing to prevent movement.

These tiles have a pressure sensitive adhesive built in. If you need more adhesive, you can use our pressure sensitive adhesive or our polyurethane.
