Can the artificial grass deck tiles be installed on a rooftop deck that is waterproofed with TPO?

No, these tiles have a hard plastic backing which may tear into the TPO roof. Please use our Soft Flex Tiles for this purpose.
Can the artificial grass tiles be installed over a wood patio?
Yes, these tiles can be installed over a wood patio.
Will rain flow easily through these? Also what should be used underneath them if using on dirt that's pretty hard-packed, I'm willing to put down pea gravel, landscape cloth. I have no other option that I can think of. The area I need has a drainage issue when we have days of heavy rain.

Yes, rainwater will flow easily through these tiles since they are perforated for drainage. These tiles are best laid on a hard surface like concrete but can be laid on hard-packed dirt.

I have a small outdoor concrete patio. It has a drain on it. If I am looking for a grass look, are your Helio tiles the best option, or do you have a better option that would fit my project?
Our Helios Artificial Grass Deck Tiles would be an excellent option for any concrete patio. These tiles allow water to drain through them, which helps to prevent water from pooling on the surface. The water would then flow under the tiles and to your drain. Since our Helios Artificial Grass Deck Tiles are tiles, they will not have a uniform look to them. If you are looking for a more uniform look, we would recommend going with one of our turf rolls or rugs. They are easy to install and are porous allowing liquids to flow through and under to your drain.
Are the trim pieces shown as accessories needed for an open edge of grass tiles? Thank you

We recommend using the trims pieces along with edges and corners if you do not like exposed edges & corners. They are not required.
Is this product compatible to install over duralast rubber roofing?

How do I alternate tiles as shown in the images (artificial grass and brown composite tiles)? What would I purchase?
Also, can both grass and brown composite tiles be placed over uneven concrete? Please let me know.
To create the checkerboard pattern you would simply interlock the tiles together (Helios Deck Tiles 4 slat, 6 slat or 8 slat & Helios Artificial Grass Deck Tiles). So just alternate between the tiles and you're done! We highly recommend placing these tiles over an even concrete surface to ensure they stay in place.
Hello, I am looking for a the same kind of artificial used in the Helios Artificial Grass tiles. I love the feel and look, however I need larger tiles or rolls. Do the come in other sizes?

These tiles do not come in a larger sizes, however, the grass used on the tiles is identical to our Del Mar Turf, which can be purchased as rolls.
Are there any tips for mitigating the appearance of the seams where the tiles meet? Brushing the grass in one direction?

When installing our Helios Artificial Grass Deck Tiles, the seams will be pretty evident. The best way to lessen their appearance is to install the tiles all in the same direction and to brush the fibers in the same direction. How you can tell if you are installing the tiles in the same direction is to look at the fibers and see what direction they are laying. This will tell you the direction that the tiles should be installed.
Can I put the Helios Grass tiles directly on packed dirt? Does the tiles prevent weeds from growing?
Yes, you can install these over packed, level dirt. The tiles themselves will not prevent weeds from growing, but you can use landscaping fabric under the tiles to block weed growth.
Can these tiles go on a sloped, uneven surface or does it have to be level?
It is best that the subfloor surface be as even as possible so that the tiles stay snapped together.
Can the artificial grass tiles be put on top of concrete flooring?

Yes, our Helios Artificial Grass Deck Tiles can handle dog urine and are perforated for drainage. If they start to smell, we recommend using a product called "Turf Fresh" to remove the odor.
How well does it work when you install tiles on dirt? Does it stay in place?

Our Helios Artificial Grass Deck Tiles can be installed over dirt that is hard-packed and leveled. We recommend installing over a hard surface. This is because floods could cause the dirt to shift which would move the tiles.
