Customer Questions

Don't see what you're looking for?
Are you able to cut these?
Dar
You can cut TRANR's 40" x 8' Rubber Mats easily with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge.
How will the TRANR mats hold up in the sun? I want to put them over concrete, poolside to create a space for stretching and calisthenics. No rain, but lots of sun.
David Mintz
1/4" TRANR Rubber Mats can be used outdoors. They are resistant to the elements and are very slip-resistant, and even more so when wet. They are also mold and mildew resistant. The only thing you will notice is that the mats will fade a bit in direct sunlight, and they will be hot. To keep them cool, we recommend spraying them with water from time to time to keep them cool.
What is the difference between the 1/4" TRANR mats and the 1/4" tough mats?
Ben
The only difference between the Tough Mats and our 1/4" TRANR 40" x 8' Rubber Mats is the size.
How waterproof/ water resistant are these mats? I’m looking for something to put on a wood floor where my dogs are going to be that will not soak up pee if they have an accident. And also want to protect the wood floor. Thanks.
Melody Lane
The 1/4" TRANR 40" x 8' Rubber Mats are somewhat porous, so if you wanted to use these mats for this purpose, we would recommend sealing the mat with our Rubber Floor Finish and Sealer. This will fill in the small holes found in the mat. If you are using multiple mats together, we recommend using our Seal Sealer glue along the seam between the mats. This will ensure that no liquid flows from the surface of the mat to your wood floor below.
Any thoughts on this holding up outdoors being used as a debris sled?
Thomas Perdue
TRANR's 1/4" 40" x 8' Rubber Mats can be used outdoors and can be used as a debris sled. Rubber is very resistant to the elements and is mold and mildew resistant. These rubber mats are also very slip-resistant, and more so when wet. The only thing you will notice is that the mats will fade a bit in direct sunlight.
