We are looking for DIY flooring options for a basement laundry room. We have French Drains installed so we are unable to go edge to edge. The concrete is fairly level but there is some variation. Will the Rigid Core planks be flexible enough to accommodate the random dimpling in the concrete? Or, is our situation better suited for a hard rubber tile?

To install vinyl planks, you would need a solid and even surface underneath, so evening out the concrete would help to install these planks. Otherwise, you may look at rubber tiles.
