How much does each plank weigh?

Each plank weighs approximately 3lbs.
My laundry room leads right into my kitchen.Should I use the same flooring in both rooms? By the way,my laundry room is a neutral and my kitchen has all white cabinets.What you recommend for both rooms.
Yes, you may use our Shaw Impact Rigid Core Vinyl Planks in both rooms. Pretty much any medium/dark colored floors would go perfectly with your neutral laundry room and kitchen with white cabinets. Grey is a very popular color right now which would look really good in both rooms as well, please see the "Weathered Barnboard" color on the product page.
Does this flooring have a texture?

Is this flooring guaranteed against damage from wheelchairs?
Shaw Impact Rigid Core Vinyl Planks do not cover damages from wheelchairs.
Is this floor recommended for high traffic areas?
Shaw Impact Rigid Core Vinyl Planks feature a 6mil wear layer, making them ideal for low to medium traffic areas. For high traffic areas, we would recommend vinyl planks with at least a 20mil wear layer, or more.
Can this vinyl flooring be installed over carpet?
We do not recommend installing any vinyl plank product on carpet, especially if it's high plush since the plush carpets will prevent the planks from locking properly. However, some customers have had success with installing these over tight, low pile carpet.

No, these planks do not have an underlayment attached.

You may use a foam underlayment underneath for extra padding.
