Customer Questions

Don't see what you're looking for?
I'm thinking about using these to stand on in my stained glass studio. I have a couple of anti fatigue mats, but I'm always tripping over them, so I really like the interlocking feature of your mats. Would these work to stand on for long periods of time, as well?
Dona
Our 3/4" Extreme Rubber Tiles are great to use as an interlocking anti-fatigue mat. For your situation, I would suggest using one of our other interlocking tiles that will give you a beveled edge. Our 3/4" Rubber Gym Tiles will give you the anti-fatigue properties you are looking for, and is beveled to reduce the tripping hazard.
Can anyone comment on the smell? I'm planning to put them in my tiny studio apartment, where my bed will be directly next to the mats, so I'll really appreciate if anyone who has this can let me know if they smell as bad as the usual rubber mats. Thanks!
Tim
Our 3/4" Extreme Rubber Tiles do have a smell to them, and it is a little more than our other rubber tile products. To help mitigate this smell, we recommend mopping the floor with a mild soap and warm water solution and letting the flooring air dry outdoors. We would recommend repeating this process a few times.
Would these work as flooring for a horse stall say at a horse show?
Mary
Our 3/4" Extreme Rubber Tiles are made from our Extreme Mats, so they would work perfect as flooring for a horse stall at a horse show.
What does beveled mean?
John
Beveled means that the tile has a sloped edge on one or more sides.
Can this be installed over carpet?
Anonymous
Our 3/4" Extreme Rubber Tiles can be installed over low pile commercial carpet easily. Over plush carpet, these tiles may separate when the carpet pad is depressed. For light colored carpets, we do recommend placing a plastic sheet under the tiles to prevent staining.
What is the interlocked size?
xuan tran
The interlocked size for our Extreme Rubber Tiles is 30" x 30".
Can these be installed outdoors year round for a play area on dirt?
Derek Powell
Our 3/4" Extreme Rubber Tiles can be installed outdoor year-round with no issues. These tiles are resistant to the elements and are very slip-resistant and even more so when wet. They are also very easy to clean and maintain and are mold and mildew resistant. In regards to being used as flooring for a play area, they definitely can, but they are not fall height rated. So if you need a floor with that rating, we recommend checking out our wide range of playground flooring. You can install these tiles over dirt, as long as it is compacted and flat. You will also want to make sure that any large debris is removed from the area where these tiles will be installed.
Can these be installed in the garage where cars come & go?
Our 3/4" Extreme Rubber Tiles can be installed in a garage. Since these tiles are made from rubber, the only issue that may arise is when oil falls on the tiles. Oil and rubber don't mix, so if left on the tiles, over time, the oil will start to break down the tiles, and they will flake. If you have a car that does leak oil, we recommend placing our Nitro Rolls or an AutoFloorGuard mat in the area where you park your vehicle.
