Smooth Rugged Grip-Loc tiles are easy to maintain. Cleaning of these flooring tiles typically includes:
  • Vacuuming any loose dust, dirt, or debris from the tiles.
  • Simply hose down the floor and let the self-draining design allow for the dirt and debris to be swept away.

Rugged Grip-Loc Tiles are easy to install. Installation of these floor tiles typically includes:
  • Clean your subfloor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, grease, or other foreign material.
  • When installing the Grip-Loc tiles, we recommend starting in the front left corner of the room and working your way out from there.
  • Make sure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall.
  • After filling the left wall with tiles and the adjacent wall, proceed to fill the rest of the room with whole tiles.
  • When you come up to a wall or object, don’t worry. Just measure the area and cut the tiles with a tile cutter or a power saw with a fine-toothed blade and put the trimmed tiles into place.
  • When trimming the tiles into place, make sure you leave about a 3/4” space between the tiles and the wall or obstruction.
  • Once the tiles are in place, you can then snap in the edge pieces, if you purchased them.

Can these be used to rollerskate on?
Allison M Hay
Yes, our ProFlow Drainage Tiles can be used for roller skating.
Is this strong enough for horses to walk/stand on?
Yes, our ProFlow Drainage Tiles are strong enough for horses to walk & stand on. These tiles are made from hard polypropylene plastic.
Can they go into a dishwasher
Ronald Taccone
Yes, our ProFlow Drainage Tiles can go into the dishwasher.
Can I install vinyl flooring on top of this in a basement?
Dex
Yes, you may install vinyl tiles or planks on top of our ProFlow Drainage Tiles.
Can these tiles withstand the weight? I want to put garden boxes with dirt and plants on top 2X6 sized boxes.
Jen
Our ProFlow Drainage Tiles can handle this weight. You can park a car on these tiles. These tiles are made from hard polypropylene plastic which is the same material all of our hard plastic garage tiles are made of.
Are the tiles flexible? Can they be installed on an uneven concrete surface with a drain in the middle?
Our ProFlow Drainage Tiles are a rigid hard plastic tile. They do flex a little bit, but not like a rubber tile. We recommend installing these tiles over a hard, flat surface that is sturdy. You may want to fill out your concrete floor to make it even before placing these tiles over it.
Would these withstand the weight of an automobile? Would I be able to install them in my garage?
Joe
Absolutely! These tiles are made of hard plastic and can be used in garages to park cars over them.
Looking to put these in bunny hutch for flooring. How big are the holes? Would bunny droppings fit through and fall out to the collecting bin?
Amber Tryon
The holes are 9/16". We'd recommend getting a sample to test out the product with droppings just to be sure they'd fall out into the bin.
Your tile cutters are pricey. Can I use a less expensive tile cutter from my local home improvement store?
Andrew Erman
Yes, absolutely!
I’m renting a house with a backyard With no grass, can I use these to make a path so I don’t wind up covered in mud?
Aja Perrin
We recommend installing our ProFlow Drainage Tiles over a hard, flat surface such as concrete, asphalt, or wood decking. If you place these directly on the ground, they may not stay interlocked very well, and the sand/mud would come through the vents in the tiles. However, customers have used these tiles as paths with success. You could consider our rubber pavers for your use as well since those can be laid directly on the ground and do not have vents so you won't have any such issues with them.
Could these be used in a dog run (potty place) under artificial grass to help it drain better and dry faster?
Laird
Yes, absolutely! These tiles can be used as subfloors under artificial turf for better drainage.
Soft enough to Walk on bare foot fore a boat
Michele
These tiles are made of hard plastic so for some people they may not feel the best when walked on. Please see our Soft Flex Tiles that are soft to walk on. Also, you may want to consider getting samples of the ProFlow to check if you like how they feel.
Would these tiles be suitable for a free weight area? How heavy a weight could be 'dropped' on these tiles without causing them damage?
Betty
Yes! These tiles are made of hard plastic and can withstand the weight of weights being dropped on them.
Are the ProFlow Drainage tiles made of flexible rubber ?
Mike M
These tiles are made of hard plastic.
do you guy carry any drainage tiles that can support 2-3000 lbs of static weight ? thanks
John
Our ProFlow Drainage Tiles can handle the weight of a car, so 2000-3000lbs of weight on these tiles will work. You may also see our garage tiles, that function similarly as the drainage tiles.
My patio is sloped away from the house for draining, is there a way I can still use these?
Shirley
Yes you can still use the ProFlow Drainage Tiles with a sloping surface, however you would want to ensure that the surface is still level enough that there would not be any slippage of the tile under wet conditions.
Are these tiles comfortable to walk on bare foot?
Kevin Pauley
The surface of ProFlow Drainage Tiles is flat and non-abrasive, they are very comfortable to walk on.
I’m looking for around the hot tub which sits on flagstones in a gazebo, so something that a) drains and b) feels good on bare feet. Tiles appropriate for irregular shape. Would these work?
Jim
ProFlow Drainage Tiles are great for use around hot tubs and are designed to be walked on with bare feet, since they are so often used for pool applications. The tiles can be easily cut with a saw to fit any shape.
Can wheels work on floor? Example: shelves or bench have wheel to move.
Melinda Kowalski
Yes, wheeling would work on our ProFlow Drainage Tiles.
Can the Pro Flow Drainage Tiles be used on flat rubber membrane rooftop?
Matt
We do not recommend installing these tiles over the rubber membrane. Please see our Soft Flex Tiles for this purpose.
What makes them mold and mildew resistant?

Self-installed in yard

I live in one of the boroughs of NYC. Our property is 80 x 100 so the back yard is not too large. We have a nice size shed and a 12' above ground pool, grill and nice outdoor furniture. The concrete was cracked and would be such a pain to replace. My husband had filled the cracks with a silicone and needless to say, it did not go with my decor.... ha ha... I would purchase a large outdoor carpet every summer to try and hide the cracks and finally decided to purchase these tiles. My husband was very concerned on how they would hold up with the winters in NY or the summers for that matter. I have to say this has been the BEST purchase ever. When it snows, we have to shovel the back and three is no issue at all as a matter of fact, it is so easy to shovel. I just said the other day,, all the sidewalks in NY should have these it makes it so easy to shovel. The freezing cold winters to not crack the tiles at all. We had a basketball hoop in the back and my son would play ball on it,, bouncing the ball like crazy on them, jumping up and down to the hoop and they have stood up beautifully. We have the tiles in the yard for at least 4 or 5 years now and they are as good as when we first bought them. We scrub them down a little when the warm weather comes and give a little shot with a power washer (on light). and they look brand new. If you are hesitant to purchase these, dont be, not matter what weather they hold up beautifully.

  I LOVE THESE TILES!
Self-installed in Balcony
Anonymous from New York, NY wrote...
I cannot say enough about how these interlocking tiles have filled the bill! We have a balcony with a view of the Hudson River. It was okay before, but the floor was concrete. Now that I have laid these tiles (forest green) it is a great pleasure to be out on the balcony! In less than an hour! We can now walk barefooted on our balcony, without discomfort. We eat our dinners out there in good weather. It feels like an extension of the apartment. Whenever we decide to relocate, I can unsnap this flooring and relocate it with us! I don't usually write reviews. but I just want to share with others the pleasure we have derived from this home improvement!
