Turf rolls are very easy to clean and maintain. Maintenance for these interlocking tiles typically includes the following:
  • Periodic sweeping of loose dirt, dust, and debris may be necessary to keep the flooring surface clean.
  • For stains and blemishes, clean the rolls with a warm water solution of household detergent and water. Never use bleach.
  • For animal urine, use a mixture of white distilled vinegar in an equal amount of water. Make sure to flush thoroughly and vacuum any excess solution.
  • For chewing gum, the use of dry ice or refrigerant packets may be necessary to remove gum from flooring surface.
  • If your turf becomes matted, brushing of the surface may be needed to restore the aesthetic appearance. Always use a synthetic brush and never a metal or wire bristled brush when performing this task.
Installation of our Turf rolled flooring is very easy and typically done by our customer's. Below are instructions for both outdoor and indoor installation of our rolled flooring.

Glue Down Outdoor Installation
  • First you will want to make sure that your surface is level, clean and dry. Our turf flooring can be installed on concrete, asphalt, pressure treated decking, and composite decking.
  • Next you will want to dry lay your turf to implement roll sequencing to minimize normal variations. Manufacturing details will be backstamped on one side of the backing, this will assist in determining fiber direction.
  • Apply pressure sensitive adhesive or double sided tape and then lay the turf.
  • Apply a bead of seam sealer to all seams.
  • Roll the product with a 75 lb. Weighted roller across the width and length of the product surface.
  • Once completed, the installation much remain in dry conditions for 72 hrs. in order for the adhesive to cure properly.
Non-Infilled Synthetic Lawn Outdoor Installation
    Area Prep
  • First you will want to remove all grasses, sods, mulches, etc from the marked areas. Note: If you are landscaping around trees shubbery, flowers, light poles, utilities, etc., remember to mark around those areas and account for the turf edge configuration. Remember to leave ample area uncovered around the bases of trees.

  • Base Construction
  • It may be necessary to compact the native soil/subgrade prior to base construction.
  • Add a base of crushed rock and level it with a landscaping rake. Ideally, the base should be approximately 3” thick.
  • After spreading, spray with water and use a hand tamp to compact the area. This typically take 2-3 passes. Let the compacted area dry and check for any inconsistencies in the area.

  • Lay Turf
  • Roll the synthetic turf out on top of the constructed base. Note: If the site requires multiple rolls, be sure to have the grain of the fibers on each roll of turf running in the same direction.
  • If using multiple rolls, trim the untufted edge.
  • Around the borders, trim the turf to mat the edges.

  • Gluing The Seam
  • Fold the adjacent trimmed edges of two rolls of turf approximately two feet apart the entire length of the seam.
  • Roll out the seaming tape and apply adhesive with a 1/8” trowel.
  • Center the seaming tape and lay the edges of each roll of turf directly onto the tape making sure not to bury or trap the synthetic grass fibers. Make sure no tape is showing and that the two pieces of turf are butting up against each other so that the joint is invisible.
  • Add weight to the seams and allow time for the adhesive to cure overnight.

  • Secure Turf On Edges And Brush
  • Steak down the turf along the perimeter every three feet or so with landscape spikes.
  • Fibers are usually matted down so use a stiff bristled broom to stand the fibers up.
  • Sand infill is optional.
Glue Down Indoor Installation
  • First you will want to make sure that your surface is level, clean and dry. Our turf flooring can be installed on concrete, dusting, powdering concrete, gypcrete , pressure treated decking, wood, or backer board.
  • Next you will want to dry lay your turf to implement roll sequencing to minimize normal variations. Manufacturing details will be backstamped on one side of the backing, this will assist in determining fiber direction.
  • Apply adhesive or double sided tape and then lay the turf.
  • Apply a bead of seam sealer to all seams.
  • Roll the product with a 75 lb. Weighted roller across the width and length of the product surface.
  • Once completed, the installation much remain in dry conditions for 72 hrs. in order for the adhesive to cure properly.

  Tiny backyard!
Self-installed in Small backyard
Ashley from Tempe, AZ wrote...
We moved into a small, old house that was split into two apartments back in the day, so we share a backyard with our neighbor. She has little dog so we put up a little fence to divide the yard and begin making our side more 'homey' for our entertainment. We wanted to have something comfortable underfoot for when we have friends over and grill or sit by the fire pit. Before, the yard was just mostly dirt with weeds, random nails and misc crap mixed in. We decided turf was the way to go as it is 0 maintenance and always green! In one Saturday, my boyfriend and I cleaned up, raked, and flattened the dirt out so we could lay the turf down. A weed barrier went down first then the turf on that, and then nails around the perimeter every 6″ to keep it in place. The backyard is now something that we are proud to have put some work into, and when friends come over we congregate out there to grill, drink, and enjoy conversation barefoot with our feet on the new turf. Absolutely best decision we have ever made when it comes to entertainment.

  Years later - still quality

I've had the turf down for a few years now and there is no sign of fade or wear. Very very happy with the purchase even later down the line.
