if it wasnt for the high cost of shipping, I would cover my whole BikeShop with it. But, I have to just cover the rest with wooden floor. Maybe you guys should have your own shipping trucks.

I purchased, 4, 18'x4' rolls of the 8mm rubber flooring. I want to say it probably was the easiest project I did around my house. I am a handy person, and this was simple enough for a not-so-handy person to tackle. I wanted a rubber floor for the gym I made in our home basement. I wanted to include photos, but this email sat in my email box too long, I want to spread the word. Following is all it took to get this installed....by MYSELF! First, clean the sub-floor and mop it, let dry, then simply roll out the mats, cut them to fit the room, let them sit for a day or two to get acclimated to the surroundings, then lift up the outside edges and seams and apply the double sided tape (I purchased this too) to fasten to the floor. This step reminded me of my High School Wrestling days, since I would run and ″stomp″ at the seams, to be sure they were ″tight″ before taping. I didn't want something permanent, in the event I wanted to change that room someday. Thus...the tape! Worked wonderful. Overall, it turned out nice. I get compliments on how the seams ″cannot be detected″. I know where they are, but without looking closely, you cannot see them. My room was 17'x15', so it wasn't super big, but perfect for this product! And the 8mm is VERY durable for a gym floor. I wanted something a little more durable than what I seen out there, this was perfect. Kind of tough to cut (which is good), I used a Carpet Knife (switching to new blades often) and a T-square...worked perfect! I will refer people to this site if they want a good rubber flooring product. I see I can send some pics to the email below, I will forward a few.

I was advised to glue this down to the plywood floor which we did. I bought this flooring for a good gym surface for plyometrics and basically to quiet down loudness of a mini trampoline in the room. I wish I had bought the thicker flooring. The reviews said the 8mm is this most common for gyms, and I was afraid the thicker one would not fit up against the carpet or tile floor it connects. however I find this flooring to be very hard, no give, and it is very loud- I am disappointed I went with the reviews and suggestions of the people I talked to.

Did my internet search and decided on Rubber Flooring Inc. Reached out to customer service a few times for guidance which both times were helpful. They do have a lot to choose from. Went with the roll due to cost savings and reduced seams. The product is heavy weighing over 120#s each. I went with three rolls for my home gym. It did take several weeks for it to arrive. One did arrive damaged. I am still waiting for customer service to get back to me on how to proceed. It arrived with part of the roll folded over which resulted in it splitting. The others rolls were fine so I did lay them down. They rolled out nicely but do have the fresh rubber aroma. They look great but would prefer to have the third to complete my floor. I also have to trim them as when your order the length they will go over the measurement and each roll is not the same length. Not sure if I will tape them down will have to see if they shift during workouts. I would rate higher but need to see what customer service does to correct the damaged roll. I have already sent them pictures so just waiting.

The 8mm custom cut rubber rolls look great in my new studio. All my clients have been complimenting how great it looks. Thanks for the great flooring!

Great for what is needed. I wanted it to match the LVT height and this was perfect. I didn’t even add a translation because it cut very clean with a metal straight edge. Make sure you change your knife blade every 2-3 long cuts. Blades are cheap and it will keep the lines clean And smooth. I bought carpet tape but didn’t install. The edges laid flat with no gaps. Another pro tip, the beginning and end of the roll are not square, make a square cut at the ends first and the rest will be easy. The sides are machined perfectly straight and no changes needed. For a deadlift platform, I just doubled up the leftover rubber to get the 1.5cm thickness which is all you need with bumper plates. Also the material was shipped perfectly. Make sure you have a friend, the 25 ft rolls have to be over #200 lbs.

We ordered the 8mm strong rolls for a home gym in our basement. The rolls arrived quickly and we were surprised by how heavy each roll was. We cleaned the concrete floor prior to laying down the rolls and everything was going great. But, after laying down the first roll we noticed that the edging (along both sides) was not lying flat (it was wavy). Luckily we had some double-sided seam tape that we used to join the seams. That seemed to do the trick and flattened out the edged. We recommend purchasing a roll of seam tape just in case the batch of rolls that you receive is wavy like ours. Another item of note is that the corners of the rolls were pulled in slightly meaning they were not square and this caused the seams to not match up perfectly, but it is a home gym so perfection is not part of the project. The flooring looks great and the quality of the material is fantastic. We went through several cutting blades when cutting the material which means the material we were cutting was dense and good quality (that's our opinion). We will be moving our workout equipment into the room soon and can't wait to start using the floor.

Love the 8mm rubber floor rolls. Upgraded our gym to a larger room in the house and decided to do it right and lay down gym flooring first. Really makes a difference, the cushion of carpet really affects stability. So glad we did this. 2020-5-8mm-strong-rubber-rolls-1 - 2

I ordered two rolls of rubber flooring. They arrived wrapped in plastic to protect the product. They were on a wooden pallet and secured very well in place. After unwrapping them I was able to install an 8’ by 15’ section on my garage cement floor using double sided tape within about 30 minutes. The rolls are heavy and it may be better to have two people to place them in the correct location. There was no visible seam in between the mats due to the pattern of flake. I was very impressed by the look and I have received several compliments.

So impressed with the quality of this floor. I put it in a 16x14 room off of my shop that I turned in to my main work area. Very easy on your feet reducing fatigue. Install could not be any easier and cuts to fit easy with a utility knife. Also love the fact that it absorbs impact so well so that if something were to fall on it, nothing gets damaged! So happy.

I've had our floor for over a year now. It is durable, looks great and easy to clean. I HIGHLY recommend. Tip - we secured the backside with gorilla glue tape - and it has held the seams together perfectly. We installed over the carpet and it doesn't slide or come apart.

I got the 8 mm baby blue rubber flooring. It looks great when installed and was fairly easy to install by myself. One thing to be aware of is, make sure the color is specified when ordering. There are different options of colors between the pre-cut and rolled and I wanted the bright blue but got the baby blue. It turned out to work for me but if it hadn't shipping would have been a great cost to me. I highly recommend using double sided carpet tape which I got from Home Depot for about $8 to do a 12 x 24 room.

I am always in the kitchen. I love to cook and enjoy baking, the kitchen is my ″zen″ The house is old and needs to be remodeled in every part of the house. My biggest concern is the kitchen, of course. I also have bad knees and standing in one place for a long time hurts. We purchased a small roll of rubber flooring to buffer our powerful washing machine from shaking everything off the walls during its spin cycle,it worked! There were some smaller pieces left when my hubby finished this minor project and decided to put them in the kitchen in front of the stove and counter where I prep my food. I fell in love with this flooring immediately and decided that we are going with rubber flooring throughout the entire kitchen area. I love the look and its easy to care for, plus, it totally relieves the stress on my legs/knees/hips and lower back! Fantastic Find!!

Sealer was hard has a rock but the floor oh so nice it really makes a difference for our bartenders six stars for the floor!

My husband & I installed it ourselves in our home gym. It looks & feels great. We have the whole family working out now.

Manageable size, not too hard to cut, should make a good floor for years to come.
